It goes without saying that for those in the IT profession the Gartner Magic Quadrant reports have long been considered a gold standard for evaluating technology solutions. The report’s easy to ready infographic makes it clear to see which companies are leading the pack in the completeness of their solution and the ability to deliver on their service offering, the companies that are leading the way in innovation, and which companies are struggling to make the grade. Then, the detailed analysis that follows creates a complete picture of the strengths and weaknesses of each vendor’s solution allowing potential buyers to evaluate their specific needs within the entire market.
Recently, Gartner released their Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Backup Software and Integrated Appliances. With the backup/recovery software and integrated appliance market being so crowded with, according to Gartner “tens, if not hundreds, of vendors” this research is particularly important to clarifying options for “midsize and large organization IT environments.”
