The lessons of 2018 will have a huge impact on 2019, in areas from cybersecurity to Federal IT modernization. But, according to Patrick Hubbard, SolarWinds Head Geek™, the opportunities coming up in the new year are just as great.
We spoke with Hubbard for the Government Technology Insider podcast, where he dove into topics ranging from security to network modernization, along with how agencies can pay for truly transformative strategies.
“For 2019, federal agencies are in a sweet spot between great new technology, best practices that have been proven by the industry and now, finally, actual earmarked budgets to see that transformation/modernization happen.”
– Patrick Hubbard, SolarWinds

More important, though, is that after several years of preparation, study, and planning, modernization is kicking into high gear, so 2019 could see truly transformative changes for IT management throughout the government.
