The repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic have forced government agencies to rapidly transform and modernize. Innovations from artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML), to 5G are helping agencies meet their needs and drive missions forward. While there may be risks in making sure the implementation of new technologies is correct, there are far more short-term and long-term benefits that will streamline and improve efficiencies.

These were the key themes of part three of the “The Power of AI, ML, and 5G” podcast series, where Brian Carnell, Chief AI Architect at Dell Technologies, discusses this topic further.

“Agencies should keep in mind that they need to democratize the solutions to the entire organization. The value that these new technologies provide is in the data. The faster you get to that data, the faster you get the value. What I mean by that is pick a solution that’s going to scale out easily using building blocks,” said Carnell.
