Legacy IT looms large in federal agencies, but there are tools out there that can help these organizations stay on track and continue to meet the mission.  For organizations facing digital transformation challenges, Appian’s Jason Adolf from walks us through some of the options that federal agencies are currently choosing to gain traction.

According to Adolf, the trend in the federal IT market has evolved from custom builds to COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) to configurable solutions. These solutions get agencies most of what they want out of the box. But, says Adolf, the big benefit of implementing a configurable solution is that it “Doesn’t force them into a particular vendor’s way of doing things.”

In an environment in which agencies are required to respond quickly to changes in policy and priorities, configurable solutions are often the best support. To learn more about the specific tools that drive and support digital transformation in federal agencies, listen to the podcast below.
