As more work occurs between on-premise environments and the cloud, the number of connected devices is rising and making it harder for agencies to secure their environment. Federal agencies must continue to evolve strategies for managing risk and ensuring compliance in today’s complex operating environment.

Fortunately, many small businesses are filling this gap by effectively tackling this landscape of compliance and security for government. By fostering co-innovation between companies such as Arlo Solutions and Verizon, the federal government is able to take advantage of specialized and niche cyber offerings that help agencies to best address today’s cyber challenges.

In this episode, Emily Bien, Managing Partner for Small and Diverse, Partner Team at Verizon; and Lonye Ford, CEO of Arlo Solutions, discuss how co-innovation is helping to pave a new path towards advanced cyber capabilities.

“The combination of a small business with the backing and expertise of a company like Verizon is a useful collaboration for government because they get the best of both worlds,” said Ford. “In addition, now there’s a huge shift in securing data at rest and where it resides, pointing to the need to break down data silos. Through collaborations, the government can address this by getting experience with the Dev sector, along with the innovation from small businesses.”
