Also known as Enterprise IT as-a-Service, EITaaS allows defense agencies to focus more on the warfighter by outsourcing IT services to commercial companies in an effort to increase user efficiencies, effectiveness, and standardize network services across their entire base.
In part three of the “Let the Warfighter Fight” EITaaS podcast series, hosted on Government Technology Insider, Chris Everich, Enterprise Architect at Verizon, discusses what the Department of Defense’s move to the cloud will mean for compute and store aspects of EITaaS at military bases.
